DARJEELING

 
Darjeeling is the Crown of Bengal. The land of infinite charm showing with magnificent view of Mount kanchenjunga lush greenery, tea garden. The Toy Train, a Unesco World Heritage, remains as the jewel in the Crown of Darjeeling. Well in your visit here do not miss to visit the tea garden and make it a point take back mementos of the East,  Darjeeling Tea . In search of spiritual calm, the Buddhist generate tremendous interest for their architectural extravagance and the spiritual message embodied. The Hills here are and abundance of resources ideal for adventure sports, Trekking in the Singalliala National Park and a visit to Sandakphu & Phalut give you breathtaking views of the mountain ranges, not to forget Mount Everest.

Yet another attraction of this region is Mirik. A nest in the hills, it is a quite hill station is a summer resort set amidst a fabulous alpine setting. A company of flowers and a glittering take reflect the magnificence of the Eastern Himalayas. The Sumendu Lake at the bottom of Mirik spur is the most dominating feature of this place.

Day 1:Reception at NJP Railway station/ Bagdogra Airport and transfer to Darjeeling via NH 55 which is appx. 90kms ,at an height of 6500ft and takes around 3 hour to reach, the road passes through the Mahananda wild life sanctuary and Tea Garden, take a short break at Kurseong. one of the Sub-Division of Division of Dist Darjeeling, to have a cup of famous Darjeeling Tea, then again start for Darjeeling, Check in at the hotel. After refreshment, we recommended a relaxed evening with short walk around the mail to enjoy the Hill life of Darjeeling. Over night halt at Darjeeling.

Day 2: After breakfast we will take you for unforgettable journey of Toy Train/ joy ride from Darjeeling Railway Station till Ghoom is one of the highest R. Station in India. The train runs on steam locomotive. it makes a round to the picturesque Batasia Loop (War Memorial) and halt there for around 15 minutes. Spend some time taking photographs of Mt. Kanchendzonga. The train now takes back to Darjeeling. After lunch you will be visiting the Tourist spots like- Darjeeling Zoo, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Centre. Bhutia Busty and Tea Garden Free evening at you own disposal. Over Night halt at Darjeeling.

Day 3: Today early morning around 4 am you will visit TIGER HILL (Sunrise Point). Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery, back at the Hotel and after breakfast drive to Gangtok, which is appx. 120 kms located at an altitude of 5500ft and takes around 3 hrs to reach from Darjeeling. The capital of Sikkim, Gangtok means "Hill Top", from here you will have the endless view of hills that fades into the horizon and towards the North-West you will be able to see the most beautiful snow covered Mount Kanchenjunga Check in at the Hotel, Free evening for (Over night halt at Gangtok)
