Day 01:

Today after your breakfast your trek starts from Demtam to varsey, which is appx09 kms, located at an altitude of 2980mts, the trek route passes through one of the wildlife Sanctuary in Sikkim and the path is very slippery. After a day long trek, we will reach Varsey. Free evening (overnight halt at Varsey).

Day 02: .

Today after breakfast you can go around Varsey and from the place you will be able to see the beautiful view of Mt.Kanchanjunga, after short refreshment your trek start for next destination to Soreng,which is downhill and appx 18kms away from Varsey. After reaching Soreng your vehicle will be waiting for you which will take you to next destination.



Rabdantse Palace soft trek Pelling, West Sikkim
We can walk upto the Rabdantse Ruins the ruins of the second capital of Sikkim of 1814 AD. Laying at walking distance from Pemayangtse, the place also offers scenic view from the top of the ruins scanning across the surrounding valleys and mountains. A great mystic height view of Mt.kanchenjungha can be obtained which something to be cherished and etched in memory.


Walk to Sanga-Choling Monastery, built in the year 1697. This is considered as one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim. The trek takes about 30min to reach the monasteries which offers a panoramic view of the valley and Pelling town. Though presently some part of the route has become motorable it, also can be explored on foot. Also the more adventurous one can go further to Rundungkhola and come back.

A fresh morning with the serene valley everywhere greets you with open arms at Yuksom, you can go for an optional trek to Dubdi Monastery, the oldest in Sikkim located on a hill top above Yuksom surrounded by verdant forest. A 30min trek of 4kms approx through virgin forest takes you to the monastery on top of a hill-an ideal place for meditation in the serene environment. Also you can further hike upto the Hoongree Monastery, one of the primitive monasteries of Sikkim. Interested ones can stay overnight in camps and meditate for a while amongst the serenity of the locale.

Fambong la wildlife sanctuary is 25 kms from Gangtok and has an area of 51.76 sq. km. The main vegetation is oak, katus, champ, bamboo, wild orchids, rhododendrons, etc. One can enjoy the soft Tinjure Trek here. The snow ranges of khangchendzonga are clearly visible from Golitar the buffer area of the sanctuary towards northwest. Elevation starts from 1524 m and the highest peak Tinjurey, a triangular hilltop is at 2749m. The ridges further connect Fambong Lho Peak and Ragorathai peak. There are bridle paths constructed along the ridges upto Rumtek peak. The sanctuary is also home to a large number of wild orhids, mosses and Lycopodium sp. Mammals found in this area are Serow, Goral, Barking deer (black & red verieties), Himalayan Black Beer, Red Panda, Weasels, Martens, Leopard-Cat, Jungle Cat, Marbled Cat, Large Indian Civet, Plam Civer, Binturong.
Birds like Pheasants are Satyr Tragopan, Kalij Pheasant, Hill Partridges. Other birds like Brown Wood Owl, Collared Scops Owl, yellowbilled Blue Magpie, Black eagle, Green pigeon, Slatyeaded Parakeet, yellowbacked Sunbird, Collared broadbill, Maroon Oriole, Orangebellied Chloropsis, Redtailed Minla, Nepal tree Creeper, Bulbuls, Laughing Thrushes, Titmice.


About 6km of walk from Pelling via Sangacholing monastery and 4km walk from Chahngay and Bongten. Ranidunga is located on the top of upper Chahngay village and it is a historical place related with the Namgyal Dynasty of Sikkim. It is also regarded as the pilgrimage and most of the local community visit during the RAMNVAVNI during the month of the April for performing puja. There is a huge rock called Ranidhunga with approximately 40ft, high which is actually flat on the top used for viewing the scenic beauty. There are five holy cave where puja is performed by offering coins and other materials. In the local language Dhunga means Rock and were used by the queen for sunbath and later people called this rock Ranidhunga i.e. Queenrock.

Sorang is a picturesque village with beautiful landscape. It is about two hours drive from Pelling as also from Melli. A trek to Jhandi Danra is must to see a variety of flowers and birds. Reasonably priced hotels and lodges are available. Visit to nearby villages for getting an insight into the way of life of people is recommended. A base camp for adventure tourism is being set up along with many other tourist amenities.

2km trek from Sirijunga Yuma Mangheem, one comes across a waterfall besides which lies a cave where Tyeongshi is reported to have taken refuge. This place is reserved by the Limboo community.

Journey to Hee Bermiok takes about four and half hour from Gangtok. One can also reach there from pelling. The main attraction are mountain biking, nature walk, visit to villages, Sirijunga Yuma Mangheem, Sirijunga holy cave at Marta, Mahatma Sirijunga statue and study centre, chhayatal lake (reflecting the image of the Sirijunga statue), Phang Dorji Falls (Ban Jhankri falls), Himalayan botanical garden Hee Goucharam. Hee Khola water garden, Red Panda Gate. The adventure lovers can enjoy two and half hour trek to Barsey. Apart from having an annual tourist festival, impressive tourism facilities are available.

Located above Sardong village Gaddi Dara on the way to Ranidhunga and approachable from Bongten 4km trek. The local communities have been regarding this old oak tree as a holy tree or sacred groove since long back. It is believed that this tree was shot with an arrow by Lord Rama in the ancient period.

Meaning of Tinsuray is combination of three hills standing very close to each other on the ridge above Liching village. The area itself is full of floral and faunal diversity. It is nearly 10km, steep trek from the Dentam-Bongten road. On the way to Tinsuray is a cave which was in the ancient days used by the monks for meditation to gain religious strength. Almost all the view of entire west Sikkim and Khang-Chen-Dzonga mountain range can be seen from this Tinsuray viewpoint.
