Namchi: Located among the hill at an elevation of 4400ft. Gives a panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains and vast stretches of valley. This Headquarter of the South Sikkim, is a fast developing into a tourist destination with its immense potential for all round tourists activities. Namchi meaning  Sky High   Its 78km from Gangtok.

Tendong hill:  Upper Horn  or   mountain of ladder This hill is a small flat stretch of land at an altitude of 8,530 ft surrended by lush green ancient forest which is popularly known as Tendong Hill. Legend has it that the Tendong Hill saved the Lepcha tribe from the ravages of deluge when the whole world was flooded-similar to Noah  Ark the Bible. Even today, the Lepcha perform pujas to pay reverence to the Tendong Hill on the accession of Lho Rham Fast. The view from the top of the hill is something to be cherished and enjoyed as it spans across the plain of Bengal to the majestic heights of the Himalayan Ranges. Trek to Tendong from Damthang Bazaar, the nearest road head, is just about two hours. One can also proceed to Namchi by trekking via Tendong Hill.  Its 11km from Namchi.

Ravangla: Popular for Pangtaod Dance and natural scenic beauty of Sikkim Himalayas (7000ft).


Temi Tea Garden: One of the top quality of tea producer for the international market. A night spent in an old British bungalow or a Getway facilities located at the tea garden could be an enthralling experience of linking the past to the present. A visit to the tea garden, enroute to the Tendong Hill, could be a rewarding experience for those who want to combine nature and culture as they keep trekking.


Borong: Facing the snow-capped mountains is Borong, Motorable from Ravangla or by trek via Maenam. A picturesque villages, its beautiful landscape and magnificent view is also host to the hot spring. Borong Tsachu . The trek trail, originating from Namchi or Damthang to Tendong-Ravangla-Maenam Borong (5-6 days) is one of the most interesting trails scaling to Tashiding or terminate at Borong and then drive to Ravangla.


Bon monastery: While the origins of the ancient culture have been traced back to pre historic times, current Bonpo followers practice a living doctrine dedicated at perpetuating the teaching of their founder Lord Tonpa Shenrab, who occupies a prominent position in Bon culture none as Yungdrung Bon or Tradition of Eternal Wisdom, they include the nine ways of Bon that outlines the laws of cause and effect on path to spiritual liberation. Today Bon monasteries through the Himalayas region continue to serve as an integral part of their community  Spritual life.


Chardham Pilgrimage Centre: Solophok Situated at Solokhop Hill which is 5km away from Namchi town. It is believed that a visit to the palace is enough to wash away one  sins. The 108 feet statue of Lord Shiva will be encircled and supported by a girdle of twelve Jyotirilingams Chardham, which is situated in India if four different palace like East as Jangannath, west as Dwarika, south as Rameshawarnam, North as Badrinath Dham, where especially Hindus consider the main piligrimage. In Sikkim, South (Namchi) specifies the important four Dhams which is in Solophok. 5km from Namchi.
